Just arrived:
Black Wizard’s self-titled, 255/350, on white vinyl.
It’s sick. The band silk screened the jacket and insert themselves. I swear, the ink on mine was still wet when I got it; it smelled like glory.
If you’re new to the site or forget what Black Wizard is all about, find out here.
A huge thanks to my man Johnny de Courcy of Black Wizard (and Pinhole Printing) for hooking me up! I’m sure if I took a picture of myself smiling like a jackass while holding the record they’d make me a fan of the day on their site, but I don’t smile. So, instead, fix your eyes on the prize…
(Click for big, dude.)

A lot of you…A LOT…have been asking when the damn book is going to be out, and I’m here to tell you that it won’t be much longer now. Sure, I’ve been saying that for the last four months, but this time I mean it. In fact, it’s so close to being done that I am ready to tease you with the covers and an excerpt. So, thanks for your patience and support. Anyway, have a look…and a read!

He eyed me darkly for a moment and I planted both feet, not knowing what to expect. It is bad business to drop other people’s heroin–especially far out at sea with a storm coming up–and I didn’t know Ackerman that well. He was a big rangy bastard, with the long loose muscles of a swimmer, and his move on the bouncing vial had been impressively fast. I knew he could get me with the gaffing hook before I reached the ladder.
You have to see this book to believe it. It’s a beast, and really, that’s the only way it could possibly exist. When I say it’s a beast I mean it has the size and weight of an old stereo receiver, making it impossible to handle with any kind of grace or dignity, and its contents are highly volatile, rabid, and dangerous. Reading it/looking at it is like struggling with an angry, 300 pound marlin deep out at sea. Only champion HST readers should think of tackling this one. Ho hum. And just think, this Taschen version I have here is, as the jacket advertises, “a different, smaller format.” Good God! I can only imagine what kind of deadly fear paralyzed readers of this book’s previous edition.
