Mine Is Clouds Teaser!

A lot of you…A LOT…have been asking when the damn book is going to be out, and I’m here to tell you that it won’t be much longer now. Sure, I’ve been saying that for the last four months, but this time I mean it. In fact, it’s so close to being done that I am ready to tease you with the covers and an excerpt. So, thanks for your patience and support. Anyway, have a look…and a read!

Now, here’s an excerpt from the book. Enjoy…

She was always smiling like her mouth didn’t know the meaning of any other gesture and if her mouth was responsible for delivering the six o’clock news there’d never be any bad news about murder or war or economic collapse but only good news about kite flights and collecting sea shells at the beach and the juice that runs down your chin after you bite into a fresh peach on a hot summer day.
So I tuned right into her smile for all the good news it had to offer.
“I like your shoes,” she said.
“They’re just old and full of holes,” I said.
“They’re honest,” she said.
I swallowed hard and sagged a bit in the shoulders because that was the greatest thing anyone had ever said to me and I knew right there that I wanted her to talk to me like that forever.
